It had a pretty good plot, and I even liked the drama with the girls and boys. It kind of sucks that the second book isn't on the nook, but at the same time it wasn't amazing so if I see the second book I'll definitely pick it up, but I'm not sprinting to B&N to get it. Over all good book.

Really like a 3.8, just short of 4 stars. This was a bit slow and it took me a little while to get in to it. It really felt like a filler book and didn't have any really big shock or anything at the end. But, it was good and did have some nice twists. I'm excited to read the next and see how the story continues for Clio and Thais.

You could skip the first 200 pages easily and still enjoy the actual plot.

I really enjoyed the first three books in this series. Wasn't a fan of the last installment.

when i firstbstarted this series I didnt think inwas going to enjoy it as much as I ended up. It started out with 2 main characters Thais and Clio but started adding more and more interesting characters. It is a mix of suspense and mystery along with witches and romance very enjoyable.

Super quick read - I feel like this could have been a lot better than it was. It had an interesting premise, and could have gone to amazing places if there was a little more substance to it. This was obviously written with multiple sequels in mind, and doesn't really work as a stand alone book - a lot of questions were introduced, but there wasn't really the typical plot with rising action and a climax. We don't know who (or if) someone is trying to kill the twins, where the grandmother disappeared to, why Andre/Luc was trying to seduce both of them, which people are the bad ones, and about a zillion other things - if anything, I feel like this was just a prolonged introduction and the book should actually begin right as it ends. And the other downside for me - I didn't really like either of the main characters. The one who was supposed to be wild and fun just seemed completely self-absorbed, and the one who was supposed to be naive-but-deep just seemed insipid. That being said, the writing had some cute moments in it, and I feel like the series has potential.

Woah this series seems like it is going to be sooo good!

I like Thais a lot more than Cilo but the premise and setting of the story is A+

The plot was interesting, but not particularly creative. I enjoyed the story enough to keep reading the book, but I'm not sure I care enough to actually finish the series. I though a lot of what happened was pretty predictable, and the book felt really dated (2005 was only 10 years ago, but a lot has changed). I also felt like the characters were a bit one dimensional - I never really felt like I got to know them beyond the surface even though it was mostly narrated in 1st person.
