So, I did their story a little backward. I knew who Mia and lexi were from lexi book echos of silence about her and Killian. So I knew a lot of what went down at the start of Mia and Zane meeting and the drama after. So I didn't know what to expect with this book, but it blew me away. I obviously read lexi Book and never imagined all of the juicy details and gut-wrenching thoughts that happen when Zane meets them. Zane has had my heart since thr first book and honestly reading lexi book I knew he would not be in the dark long or I would have gotten really depressed on how lost he was Mia and lexi are the perfect daughter and mother. I loced seeing Mia side more now, and just how kicked ass mom she was even more and also a little minx. Zane lack of words never bothered me because when he did say something, wow. Anne knows how to write a tortured man, but what Mia went through and both of them coming out of it was so good. I'm not sure if another couple in this series can bear them.

I think this installment of the sons of templar series was the beginning of the series taking a turn for the better. I found it a much better read than book one & two which made me excited to keep reading.

I was so happy to read about bull finding love after all he'd been through and felt mia was such a perfect fit for him. plus, mia's relationship with her daughter added such a fun element to what could have been a very, very heavy story. I agree with other reviewers, the gilmore girls vibe was very strong and as a fan of the series, I really enjoyed that element.

My favorite book of Anne's yet! Book 3 of the SOT series- start with Making the Cut to avoid spoilers. Mia and Bull. Oh my heart! Both have loved and lost so much, but find unexpected love and restored souls in each other. (And for more from Lexie and crew, Check our Anne’s spin-off series Unquiet Minds! You’ll thank me for it!)

Couldn't put this book down, love Anne Malcolm's writing. The sex between Mia and Zane were smoking hot, enjoyed the gentle relationship between Lexie and Killian.

All in all stupendous story, sorry it has ended. I can tell I will be rereading this one.

Anne can definitely tell a good yarn. I didn’t like this one as much as the first two because…
SPOILER
….even though I read bully romance regularly, I found Zane’s treatment of Mia really infuriating. He was treating her like a whore and she knew it but didn’t tell him to eff off.

Words cannot express the tears that cascaded down my face during this book from heartbreak and from laughter. During those depressing heart shattering moments Anne Malcom balanced them out perfectly with humor and lightheartedness. By Anne Malcom doing this has made the book ten times more emotional and amazing. This also gave the characters and plot depth.

Bull was an absolute dream of a character. He was such a heartbreaking character who deserves all the happiness and love in the world. I just wanted to give him a hug but I don’t think that he would like that. Bull was one of the male leads that disliked everyone but Mia and her daughter Lexie. He was a broken man who was glued back together by two rays of sunshine.

Mia, like all the other female leads Anne Malcom created, was amazing and she had a killer sense of style. SOUL SISTER. Mia was one of the funniest characters I have ever met. I could not wipe the smile off my face when she was in a scene. She was a quirky and unique character who has a love of heels that I 100% have as well.

Bull and Mia have this beautiful relationship that brought tears to my eyes. I love them together so much. They both have this darkness within them, demons haunting them but when together the darkness turned into light and the demons were scared away. Anne Malcome knocked it out of the park with Out of the Ashes. This is hands down my favorite out of the three books I've read so far. I’m obsessed with this series.

5/5 Stars!!!!!!!
This is the 3rd book of the Mc series Sons of Templar. Out of the Ashes is my favorite book by Anne Malcolm.
Zane lost someone he loved very much in a horrible way and it has been haunting him for years until he laid eyes on Mia suddenly his mind is quiet. Zane and Mia have chemistry that is off the charts!!! Mia also has a sixteen-year-old daughter who is seriously so F**** funny. I loved how Zane treated Lexie as his own and was very protective of her and of course Mia. Over all, I just loved everything about this book.

Zane battles demons that leave him in darkness. He has no intention of involving himself with sunshine and happiness, he would just ruin it. Mia has no idea why he hates her so much. Not that she wants to involve herself with someone.

Feel sad for Bull and his past but hate how he kept using Mia. Or he would leave her after saying he never would. Story kind of skipped around too. I was hoping for more.
