This was an unusual book. I usually give a lot of credit to young adult books that do not speak down/dumb down their writing simply because of a younger audience. This book was fairly well written and didn't dumb down content, but I didn't find the main characters likable, and I'm not really sure what the point of book was, exactly. It reminded me a little of Twilight in that the main character yearns for nothing for herself except being with her man. I found the book enjoyable enough, but wished for a stronger main character.

3.5 ⭐s *sigh*

I think this would have been better from Josh's POV. Maybe then I'd understand what actually made him fall in love with Isla? I like Josh. But I feel like I still don't know who Isla even is

I loved this book so much!! I felt that Stephanie's writing has developed A LOT over the companion trilogy. This book was fast moving and I adored that - also Isla is my fav.

boring.

Edit 1: I feel like this review still stands. This book was just not it.

Literally the worst book in the trilogy. Josh and Isa argue all the time and I can’t even tell why they like each other.

The book is interesting in the “ I can’t look away from the train wreck” way

So good.

I really enjoyed this one. I adore both Josh and Isla. A lot. I wish the book came with sketches. I want to see his art. I think I like this one better than Anna's story.
