Definitely a lot crammed into a Christmas weekend.

Hmmm, what to say? This feels like an enjoyable Christmas crazy family get together. Everywhere you look something's happening and everyone seems to be in everyone's business. It's busy, with more going on than a Christmas sale.

The momentum was fast-paced about everything and perhaps that was part of what didn't quite click for me. Too much tell, not enough show or development of the characters and the relationship.

Not as strong as Hughes' previous books and I didn't fall in love with these characters like I did those in her previous books.

Anna's entire review was "Are you looking for a lesbian fake dating holiday romance?" and you know what, I WAS. This was the perfect thing for the romcom craving I knew would strike on my Christmas vacation, when I thought I wouldn't have time to watch a movie all in one go. And I read it nearly all in one sitting.
