Spicy Christmas story. A little cheesy. Some personal growth plot lines. Pacing was a bit off but overall an entertaining book.

2.5, sorry not sorry.

idk i didn't have many expectations for this book, luckily i guess. sure, nick was cute and sweet; elle was relatable at points; they weren't bad together. but for some reason i still didn't feel much connection between them and it didn't really leave me with the kind of emotions and feelings i expect from a book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I thought this book was so-so. It was cute, but nothing extraordinary or out of this world. Elle and Nick developed quite a quick romance, falling in love after only being around each other for one month. There was some spice, but it was fairly quick. Elle encountered a few instances where she had to make some touch decisions. I thought most of the book was okay, but the ending was much better!

This book is adorable. It is a Hallmark Christmas movie, with a little more spice. Elle is a struggling actress who gets a job offer that sounds to good to be true. When she gets to the magical town of Mistletoe Valley she learns that she has already had a run in with the towns golden boy, attorney Nick. I loved Nick, he is so sweet… like your perfect book boyfriend. I also really enjoyed the growth you see in Elle, she has to make some pretty big decisions and it was so good to see her work through it all. Also, the spicy scenes are *chefs kiss* I didn’t really know what to expect as far as spice goes, and it was perfect! This is a very enjoyable read for Christmas.
