This is my first read of a romance book from Rebecca. In this you have two current day POVs and book/letter excerpts from the WWII story line, also with two POVs.
Minor: Domestic abuse, Infertility, and Physical abuse

I enjoyed the dual perspectives from both different characters and time periods. I did not see the ending coming which did not disappoint for either Scarlett and Jameson or Georgia and Noah.

The ending of Scarlett and Jameson’s story was beautifully done, both the real life one, and the one that is written for them.
Easily a 5 * read except for the second love story that is told. The one between Georgia and Noah pales in comparison, it feels rushed and put in as a filler that is too convenient. Every time I had to read about them I rushed and wanted to get to Scarlett and Jameson. It’s probably bad, but even the story of (BIG SPOILER DONT CLICK UNLESS YOU READ THE HOOK)
To love like what Scarlett found, that’s what I want to find too.

I found myself falling in love with both love stories between Scarlett and Jameson and Noah and Georgia: but additionally I found myself really endeared by love Georgia has for Gran.
I really enjoyed the switch between perspectives and time periods.
I also found the characters really loveable.
The twist near the end of the book was amazing.
You should definitely read!
