This book was soooo good. This imo is less of a retelling and more of a completely new story with a lot of references to the oRiginal Peter Pan! This book has lots of wild plot twists which I love and I am excited to read the rest of this series

hooked is a dark romance and isn’t suitable for younger audiences or those with certain triggers. please read with caution.
hooked is the type of book i expected to enjoy and was blown away by how much i actually loved it. it was fast paced and action packed, resulting in a very quick read.
one of my favourite aspects of this book is that its (quite clearly) a peter pan retelling. it’s a romance with a modern day twist involving the infamous hook. i really enjoy that the never after series takes villains and gives them romance stories. it’s boring always reading about the same few princesses when there’s some more interesting bad guys right there!
the only negative thing i have to say about this book was that the romance felt instalove-y. (it’s one thing i can’t stand.)
at the time of writing this, I’ve already read the other two books. i can confidently say this was my favourite one so far.
one thing i’ll mention is that hook gave heavy lucifer (fox/netflix) vibes.
