So far this isn’t my favorite of the Miss Peregrine books. We learn more about the secrets Abe kept and why he kept so many of them, the unrest we see from many of the Peculiars in The Devils Acre and all over really is interesting and lets the reader see from both sides of the conflict. Both sides have very valid reasons for this conflict, and I there is no right or wrong side. So you as a reader have to decide where you stand.
I absolutely HATE Jacob’s parents. I don’t think I have hated any fictional parents more than I do Jacob’s.
My favorite part of this whole book is the fact that I have the exact same “Normal People Scare Me” shirt as Enoch and it is my absolute favorite shirt. 😂
This book is probably my least favorite as it took a while for anything to really happen. It felt like it dragged and honestly, I think the book could have been shorter.
Graphic: Violence and Kidnapping
Moderate: Gun violence and Racism
