The Killbot team is still exploring their new environment. They have come a desert of team dubbed blood sand. The team will need to work together to survive and overcome the new challenges they face.

I felt that the characters were not as strong in this novel, as in the first. However, I still love the concept and the team's ability to overcome obstacles.

it pick up from the first book ... I like how we get more into the characters background and you can tell this is a different author but it warp up some questions but leave more unanswered and can't wait for more

Another great book in the Horizon series. I wasn’t sure how I get about having a series written by different authors, but the characters still felt the same in this book. I was still on the edge of my seat just waiting for Team Killbot to get rescued or find their way out of this weird apocalyptic world.

I’m not sure if I will continue the series, but this certainly is an amazing Juvenile Science Fiction novel series that I would highly recommend.

Very good! There were annoying moments when I got tired of the characters “naming” things (and the story doesn’t progress nearly as far as ai would have liked) but their determination to survive this strange rift world and make it to the building across the way is powerful and compelling. Having each character alternate to lead the narrative continues to work well and gives good bits of insight into each of these diverse and unique characters.
