DNF and will not be forcing myself to ("F"inish, I mean).
The book is advertised as the tale of one specific incidence, and instead, it goes into this long history about fishing.
I wanted to experience a visceral reenactment of being caught in this dangerous storm, but was instead subjected to fishing trivia.
Maybe he got to describing what I came to read but, I lost the patience to wade through all the other paragraphs.
The book might as well be called "The History of Contemporary Fishing: A Truly Dangerous Ordeal".
**
UPDATE:
I went back in, navigated via the "Table of Contents" to the correct chapter in which all the answers to my expectations would've lied.
I got what I came to get, but not from the author himself, and I still find the book mostly boring.

I am currently about 3/4 of the way through this book, but enjoying it greatly. It's a hard story, especially once you realize it's true, but still powerful.

I was recommended this book by a friend when I mentioned I loved historical fiction... but this is fact about fact and boats... I was bored. And I have thalassophobia, so maybe this was a bad choice on both our parts
