I got exactly what I came for from this book. A dark, why-choose, smutty romance.
Was it way too long for very little reason? Yes. Was the story structure kinda a mess? Also yes. But it was overall entertaining, and at least some of the twists were done well.
I also really liked Alistair, even though he was not the most developed character. He was the least frustrating of the bunch.
Be sure to check trigger warnings before reading.

This reverse harem is a bit of a mess.
I loved the FMC because she is strong and fierce.
The boys are well balanced in their depravity (my favorite is Alistair because he is the quiet and the sensitive one).

And yet, this is inconsistent: the sister’s story is clumsily intertwined in the history of this polyamory.
Even if the plot itself is well thought, it escalated way to quickly without making any sense and it is too long to reach the end.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Main TW: suicide, degradation, knife injury, blood, fire… please check all the list. This is a lot.

I am a bit disappointed.
I love the Losers series (Harley Laroux) so much that without wanting too, I wasn’t able to stop myself comparing. And Sick Boys is not worthy.

Okay, why did I like this so much, and what does it say about me... Some things in the book made me go "really?" But it amused me so I liked it. Dylan was my least favorite, I don't know why. I would kill for Ali, and Felix is endgame. I don't think I want to read the second book because of the boys in it. I didn't care for them in this one, but I may give the third one a go.
