Spice was decent. Pacing was ok, but I just can't get over
Eve's motivation to unalive herself and how it felt that the boys just straight up replaced Eve with Penelope. For Penelope to go through so much to avenge her sister's death, and then for her to get in a relationship with the boys that her sister died over, it really doesn't add up for me.

Okay, why did I like this so much, and what does it say about me... Some things in the book made me go "really?" But it amused me so I liked it. Dylan was my least favorite, I don't know why. I would kill for Ali, and Felix is endgame. I don't think I want to read the second book because of the boys in it. I didn't care for them in this one, but I may give the third one a go.

As far as spicy fun time is concerned, this book nailed it! The plot is a bit complicated, and at times, all over the place. This isn't my favorite story, but I'm not in hate with it either. I am a sucker for a why-choose dark romance with great k!nk (in this case degradation/praise) and the last chapter in this story was absolute-chefs-kiss!
