This is the fifth book in the Passion Series and while each book can be read as a stand-alone I highly encourage reading them in order to fully understand all the character development and relationships.

Wow - this was another excellent story in the series. This series just hooks you in and makes you not want to put the book down!

I loved Faith right from when we met her in the last book. She is determined to get Adrian and doesn't understand why he just won't accept her and her visions. She kind of reminds me of the energizer bunny as she just keeps going no matter how much Adrian pushes her away and she never gives up. I really liked that Faith kept Adrian's secrets close as she knew that it wasn't her place to reveal them.

Adrian is such a tortured soul. Yet it's also clear why as the book goes on and we realize how much his own life has been altered by what Fabian and Sirene felt that they had to do to keep him alive in the first place. He doesn't feel like he deserves Faith due to his "job" and his past mistakes with Lucas.

When everything came out in the open I was loving how Sirene came to the defense of Adrian over Fabian and how they themselves realized their own mistakes with Adrian.

I was surprised at the twist with Nadine and I was definitely not expecting that turn of events but although I hated it in regards to Faith it was definitely a great addition to the story!

Such a great series and I'm looking forward to the next one!
