J. Saman never misses honestly. I was sucked into this story from the first page.

Asher just won the Super Bowl.
Winter is out with her friends who dared her to “take a risk”
That “risk” lands her in the VIP bathroom with the QB of the winning Super Bowl team (who she does not recognize). It gets heated. Ends with a good time in the bathroom

I don’t even know where to begin! I have never been left so speechless from reading. This entire series is amazing but this book! This book is AMAZING! The story is so sweet and I already loved Asher from the previous books. This book can be read on its own though if that’s more your style.

I highly, highly recommend this book if you like football romances. I highly recommend reading this entire series and all of Julie Saman’s previous series also. I promise you won’t regret it! Happy reading!

Wow! I am just so in love with this series and I could not put this book down. I was hooked on Asher and Wynter from the start. There's a great pull, an intensity for him that he can't stop thinking about her. I loved that addiction he seemed to have. The story took me on their journey, the reconnect, the getting to know each other, the twists and turns along the way, and everything in between. There's a great heat, a sweet caring man, a determined woman with a protected heart, and of course, this amazingly close knit group of friends around them. A definite must in a much loved series and I am so ready for Lenox!!

What do you do when a night that you do not remember comes back to haunt you? Normally, I am not into the pregnancy trope but this one did not disappoint. Wynter went to a Super Bowl party and met Asher in the bathroom. After having a one night stand which she does not remember, but he does, they meet some time later when she is to be his doctor when he needs surgery.  Wanting to get to know his son he suggests her moving in with him. What could go wrong? This has mini tropes:
Forced proximity
Accidental pregnancy
Single mom
He falls first
This was a good story from start to finish.

I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.

I knew Asher Reyes would be a goofy cinnamon roll hero, but I was unprepared for his devotion to Wynter and Mason. As fun as Asher is, he knew when he needed to be serious. And Wynter and Mason gave him a reason to grow up.

I really liked the plot in this book. Wynter and Asher had one night in a bathroom where no names were exchanged and both left pretty embarrassed and unsatisfied, and that resulted in a surprise baby. I loved that as soon as Wynter realized their connection, despite her hesitancy of football players, she never kept Mason from Asher. And Asher never questioned Wynter and was fully invested as soon as he knew about Mason.

I loved that the more Asher showed up for Mason, the harder it was for Wynter to deny her feelings. No matter how hard she pushed Asher away, he never gave up on his chase. Asher wasn’t perfect, but he knew how to apologize and learn from his mistakes and he was loyal, which was definitely something Wynter needed in a partner. I loved the way they talked things through and were honest with each other.

This was a fun book with a lot of heart thrown in. I love the closeness of the guys and their acceptance of the women in their lives into their group. I can’t wait for the final book in this series, Lennox is the silent, broody mystery I know I will love.

another wonderful and 5 star read from j. saman! this is such a good series and while you can read these as standalones, reading them in order is 100% the way to go because the side characters will be SO much more meaningful to you. typically i don’t love the instalove trope but it was done so right and i fell in love with asher immediately. i always knew his book was going to hit but this really blew me out of the water. the sports trope was great, plot twists i didn’t see coming, and of course some wonderful cameos from the rest of the central square crew.

the only thing that bothered me is j saman’s use of the term hearing impaired. if you’re going to write a character with hearing loss (this is not a spoiler), PLEASE actually do your research and get the terminology right. as a deaf person myself, the deaf community rejects the term hearing impairment because so many of us don’t view our deafness as a negative thing, or something that’s wrong about us - as the term impairment tends to convey. while our hearing IS impaired, we choose not to focus on that and instead on deaf culture and all the wonderful things that come with being deaf. and therefore the term impairment isn’t used. in the future, here’s some term swaps: d/Deaf, hard of hearing, person with hearing loss. in general, if you’re going to write a character with a disability, do your research and TALK to people with that disability themselves to make sure you’re getting it right and respecting the community.

ON TO LENOX!!!!
