I loved this book and I love Cassie, her tantrums make me laugh and I have waited a long time for her book. But I also like the heat of Dash Sinclair and that he is very direct and sexy.

Tortured Hero, Family Man, sweet little girl who's got a thing for chocolate, hot love scenes. Who couldn't love this? My only beef is that it was a great build up, but the ending could have been more than just 6 pages of "Oh wow, we gotta finish this" feeling.

Dash and Elizabeth are a good couple. She didn't always give a lot of plot to these early books and you feel it in this one. You don't really get a sense of the import of what is happening with Cassie and the Breeds.

That being said I liked them as a couple. Elizabeth was independent without being irritating and you get a little glimpse of Merc as well. I liked Simon and his ladies, but they don't appear in later books so I hope she explains more about them soon.

so far this has been the best story of the breeds that I've read, the plot wasn't that thin and the characters really bonded, which was something that happened in the other books.

Nice twist with the mixed DNA sequencing. Not sure if that would actually give a viable result but then again considering the story...
