This is a cool book! I’m a fan of body horror in media in general, so I appreciated this book. That said, it does have several flaws. The whole thing moves too quickly for me. I would’ve liked our main character to stay out for a little longer. Some of the writing feels amateurish, but the last 20-30 pages are phenomenal. The main character is classic noir and I loved it

Heard a lot about this book (technically two novellas) and it was unfortunately overhyped for me, I just thought it was okay. I did like the idea of it though.

Too gratuitous gore and not enough mystery.

Easily one of the worst written books I have had the displeasure to read. The main character has no personality whatsoever, and the entire thing reads like it was written by a teenage boy with an obsession for amputation. Incredibly repetitive, completely random narrative arc, unintentionally funny and immature writing. It reminded me most of the fictional script of Threat Level Midnight - and not in a good way at all. If I could give it zero stars - I would.
