I feel like this is the kind of book that you're meant to read fast.
The characters' personalities are not meant to be explained in detail since the open-ending is the main focus of the plot and this leaves room for readers to speculate and make their own conclusion for the plot.
Would prefer if there is just a tiny more plot so that readers are at least clear of where the ending is heading / how it is concluded while still allowing us to form our own theories.
Still good tho

this was fun. short, easy to read, so suspenseful, so well-written and had an ambiguous ending and an unreliable narrator.
I do have one complaint though: the ending was *too* ambiguous. it was almost like it's incomplete. i dont like when something ties in together too too perfectly, but i don't like when it's left too open. like, i can come up with theories, sure, but none of them are satisfactory to me.

Let Her Be by Lisa Unger
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3*)
This was an emotional rollercoaster. It was my third story from the Hush-Collection and it was ok. In the beginning I found it very interesting and also very well narrated when it comes to the audiobook.
We see the whole story through Wills‘ eyes and he tries to find out where his ex-girlfriend went. There are many different things happening which makes sense in the end.
I found the book to be very thrilling at the beginning, I was asking myself what happened or what could‘ve happened but somewhere after the middle I was quite sure what happened and from there it wasn‘t that suspensful anymore. There are many nice scenes and conversations which let you doubt your ideas but in the end I still knew what happened.
It is for sure not the best short story I‘ve read but still solid. So if you are looking for a short psycho-thriller without too much fancy parts… look no further. I can recommend that one but I guess many big readers out there will find it rather weak.
