Straconsigliato :)

This is an incredibly original novel. It solves the mysterious question of where things goes when they inexplicably disappear....everything from socks to mittens to people. The main character is an investigator who searches for missing people. When looking for a missing person, she goes missing herself and finds a world she never knew existed. The premise is unique and the story "hangs together" really well. I could not put this book down after I started it. All of the characters are interesting and well developed. Although this had the trademark "fairy tale" like feel of a Cecelia Ahern book, it was generally darker and a little more substantive than some of her other books. The book would appeal to anyone who likes "chick lit" but also to people looking for something a little "meatier" than a standard chick lit premise.

Hey Bhawna, this one is for you if you're ever reading this
I found it one of those books that made me ask why the hell did you pick this up. It was about a girl being lost and soon the narrator too gets lost. How can it be possible? That's not all but Donald also goes missing with Jack roaming like a fool to search for him. I don't remember whether they reach home, but tbh I found this book quite irritating.

I didn't think that I liked this book, but have caught myself thinking about it many times. It has definitely stuck with me.

It was so much fun to go on this adventure with Sandy Shortt. Great characters and another great story from Cecelia.

Nan gave me this book - she’d started it and didn’t like it. I could see where she was coming from, the start is very confusing with no real structure and is difficult to grasp. It’s a shame as a lot of people would’ve given up. The last third of the book is outstanding and I couldn’t put it down. Very cool twist, shame about how long it took to get there.
