This was a little better than Bianca's introduction and I enjoyed listening to more of her story which picked up right where her little episode story ended. And a particular story she had read in a book about something I won't say what until you read it, but I'm hoping it's playing a role since part of the story she was reading had missing pages (of course right when it was getting good *eye roll* and worst timing ever hence why I'm hoping in her next episode when we get back to her or later we learn about what she had read. In the meantime, it's time to pick up Nyro's second episode story and no doubt picking up where it left off in his story and now I'm too excited to listen to his.

A very confusing start to this book, it felt as though I missed an entire book in the series. New characters came up as if they had already been introduced, complete with storylines attached to them.
This was such a disappointment because the first 2 books were well layed out.

White Rook picks up right where White Pawn left off. Bianca is now fourth Pawn on the White Board and is one step closer to her goal - the end of the Black King Maximus. Since she was injured, she spent some time in the infirmary but soon she’s back on her feet and training harder than ever.

This book is very short, but still very good. I really like Bianca and I hope she succeeds in her quest. This book was a bit slower than the previous ones, but it still moved quickly, and the cliffhanger ending made me jump right into the next instalment.

I received and ARC from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This gets more and more exciting!! Will Bianca and Niro finally get together? Or will they live long enough to do so? I can’t wait to find out!!

The series is continued flawlessly from the last book. Things don't get easier for Bianca but I love how determined she is and she keeps growing stronger. I love how fight after fight she earns the admiration and fear from the board. The best part of the book for me was the brief reunion of Bianca and Neyro! Can't to read the next book!
