CW: schizophrenia, panic attack, death of loved one
This book had potential and I was excited by the concept, but it fell a little short for me. I felt Emmy's diagnosis was handled okay. It was handled straight out but was sort of hinted at and obscured, even from Emmy's viewpoint. There was a lot of time on the page between Jonathon and Emmy, but I found it hard to see them fall in love with each other. I also found the ending abrupt and Emmy's realization of her witchiness sudden.
