I enjoyed this one more than volume one and felt like the characters were more their own individuals. Still silly and fun in the way it won’t break your heart.

It's hard not to love the madcap, slapdash adventures of the Lumberjanes. Yes this is a book (series) very self-aware of its coda of Friendship to the Max! and cool-girl feminism, but it's also really, really fun and joyous. I would've loved to read these books when I was 10. And Ripley really is the best.
