I really wanted to fall in love with this book. I like the prose. I like the premise. I like tech. It all just kind of falls apart in the end. Really felt like the author wrote himself into a corner and never quite figured out a good way out of the jam.

Cool world building that leaves more questions than answers and not in a “I’m dying for a sequel” way

In the end it’s “good” and that feels like kind of a bummer…

LOVED reading this. ending is so satisfying to me idk… it falls together quite nicely. satisfying. i was kind of losing hope in the fact that i would be spiritually okay with the ending

like bo was traumatized by raider’s ending lol… been there!

but chong did not let me down! i ate this up. idk what else to say.

actually i do bc i love writing about my thoughts on MEDIA! i rly love like urban fantasy/sci fi whatever this genre of book is. adding a magical element to offer another filter/perspective on ordinary emotions. and flux does it rly well… the setup was just so fitting and i love how the plot keeps you on your toes while also not brushing over the rich emotional and interpersonal landscape of the characters… ugh the more that was revealed the more my heart opened itself to the characters and isn’t that such a perfect experience to have with a book… and wow i already knew this but men will do literally anything but get therapy!
