I loved this, surprised the overall rating is so low! Maybe that’s because the main characters are quite annoying… but more in a way that makes you think! There’s parts I like and dislike about them all, everyone has flaws, that just makes the story more believable.
The actual plot was spooky, it’s kinda scary how I could actually see this happening, in America probably. That element of plausibility and the desperation of the bride drew me fully.
The way flashbacks were used alongside the progression of the main characters mindset, from steadfast and judgmental to more balanced, throughout the book was really well done and clear. I loved the ending too, a very solid ‘would recommend’!
