This book could not sldecide on spice level. Also the back and forth felt childish and she was definitely babified.

Age gap romance, couch and gymnast.bookshelf1792's review against another edition
Someone’s flair on Reddit is DNF and DNF often. When it’s not working it’s time to move on.
This started out great with a promising storyline and characters but quickly turned toxic. I got a little icked out by the coach/player and age gap in this one because of the way it was handled. Ultimately, Brie is extremely immature and I got the major ick. Erik is so far super one dimensional and has no quality besides washboard abs that are making me like him. The hot/cold toxic nature of their relationship is something I strongly dislike so I’m setting this aside for something I will like.
Ok I went back to skim and I got to the yoga scene and WHAT WAS THAT. now I’m just angry? There was barely consent, that came out of LEFT FIELD, and he was back to being a huge asshole after?! Ok I’m really done reading this book now. chatterbookbabe said it best “There is a scene that takes place in this book that is more risqué than anything else R. S. Grey has written previously. I usually have no problem with that type of scene. It felt wrong here, for multiple reasons. One being Erik is such a dick to Brie afterwards. That is never explained. The whole thing was sprung on her last minute. She hadn't even been intimate with him yet. I could go on, but it made no sense to me. Then to have him be cruel to her afterward made it worse”
