Listening to this during quarantine, I was hoping (ha!) for something that would help build hope. This is not that book. But in a sense, it’s far better because of it. I’m not quite sure what I’ve taken away from the book so far, but it’s utterly fascinating and definitely got me out of my quarantine rut of spending too much time on social media. If you liked The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, you’ll enjoy this book too.

Excepto por el último capítulo, me ha gustado casi más que el primero, lo he leído sin parar, me encanta la redacción.

Como não depositar esperança nos outros e em ideologias para procurar soluções para o nossos problemas, sem perdermos a motivação em nossos próprios.

I did not like this book. It was so narcissistic and maybe that‰ЫЄs the point but I don‰ЫЄt like narcissism so it was very hard for me to read. Even in the second half about hope it didn‰ЫЄt seem like very positive hope it seemed kind of like it was trying to give us fake hope. Sort of like a ‰ЫПyou suck but that‰ЫЄs okay‰Ыќ kind of hope.

I think it is better if this book only contains 80 pages instead of 300 pages because there are so many repetition of explanation. The point that this writer want to say is....the freedom is not fully freedom if it make us more greedy or more demanding. Thefore the limitation is needed.

I only enjoyed the part where Mark Manson explained how weak was Nietzsche's body

The content of this book is extremely psychological, instead of being self-help. Mark Manson is a good author and and most of his ideologies are commendable, and should be followed, but on the contrary, this book is extremely extremely offensive. If you have guts, then you can go ahead with this, Gandhi, but I didn’t like it personally.

Well. It was boring.

Embrace Pain... You are shit and embrace that... blah blah blah.

This book gave me one interesting thing to look forward. It was the introduction of Friedrich Nietzsche and his ideas. It is very fascinating and I am gonna try reading his works.
