I had such high hopes for this book but there is just zero chemistry or even tolerance between the two main characters. It doesn't help that the MMC reminds me vaguely of Gandalf.

BEND HER is book one in a dark fantasy retelling of The Beauty and The Beast. It tells the story of Lidiane who is kidnapped by The All Beast, Rhaim.
The author did a fantastic job of adding original elements to one of my all time favorite tales. The twists and turns only added to one great plot.

Magic, Mages and War. What seems to be a predictable story lost its predictability when there’s a war ragging against The Deathless and whole dynamic between the characters presented as Dom/sub.

Rhaim is one interesting character. Each mage has a unique form of magic and Rhaim ‘s magic presents as control over beasts and the ability to turn into an All Beast. He is a Dominant male and has is eyes set into exploring Lisiane ‘s submission by mastering her body.

Lisiane is a proud female and her pride is at stakes when she agreeds to let Rhaim master and control her body in exchange of being trained into becoming a mage.

This book is a kinky slow burn. I love how the characters relationship slowly and swiftly evolved. The spicy scenes were, well, spicy. The war against The Deathless were also a highlight in this book. And I also loved how I could not predict the next scenes.

I can’t wait for book two. I need answers and I also need more of Rhaim *inserts chuckle*.

Thank you to the author for providing me with the ARC in exchange for a honest review. <3

I liked the trilogy overal, but it was a little bit too long. It could have been a good duet or just one book. It needed to be this long. I lost a lot of my interest in the end because of it. And sorry, but I didn’t like the end!

Bend Her is a Beauty and Beast retelling. It is the first installment in The Transformation Trilogy, a Dark Fantasy Romance series. This was an intriguing and addicting read that was hard to put down! I loved the writing and the world building was absolutely captivating. The plot was so interesting and this was a fairly quick read. I loved the Beauty and Beast vibes and I can't wait to read the second book!
