The best CJ Box novel so far. The more of these I read the more I get invested in the main character, Joe Pickett, and the town of Saddlestring. Box does a great job of bringing in storylines and characters from previous books and always tells a compelling story! Highly recommend!

it was a good book but i was disappointed with the ending. It was too easy and too abrupt.

Pretty good

This was a solid entry but didn't quite love up to the previous book in terms of tension. There are some story threads that need to be explored and completed in the next book(s).

Pickett is a great character, but story drags and is untied at the end.
