It's interesting, but feels way too long, especially as an audiobook. There are several tangents that could have been avoided.

I read most of this book in like two weeks and then the last 200 pages in like two years. If this book hadn't stared intimidatingly at me from my kindle shelf it definitely would have been a five stars. The beginning was so interesting. It gave names and words to certain things I had noticed before or petterns I'd thought about. It seemed to articulate so many things like that, that before were just felt. Also, the stories were absolutely insane! Also also, way more applicable than 48 laws of power. I would much rather know why I get mad when people ask me if I'm okay, than how to gain power over my fellow courtiers.

Amazing book, that tells us everything we need to know about how humans think and act. It really helped me understand a lot about the human psyche. It has a variety of examples of different life stories of significant people in human history. Really well explained mechanisms of how our minds work, would definitely reccomend!
