this was so precious. anne shirley was a character i loved growing up, and as an adult, i see that that’s because she read as queer to me. so lovely and special to read a queer retelling of this story i loved growing up!

I decided to read as many Anne of Green Gables adaptations as possible and this was the first one. It was kinda cute, but there wasn’t nearly enough of Gilbert in this book.

This was such a cute adaptation of Anne of Green Gables! It was witty, charming, and highlighted the best parts of the original story. It was a joy to see a more modern interpretation of the text, and a great way to share the story with a newer, younger generation.
