Loved this book and found it to keep me wanting more. However, the epilogue was very hard to read and lowered my rating. The very descriptive

/spoiler> murder of January by her father

was very hard to read and turned me from a high 4 - 5 star rating down to a 3.75. I loved the detail, yet hated it at the same time. The story kept me wanting more and just when I think I finally figured something out another plot twist was thrown into the mix. 

Love Ashley Flowers and am a huge fan of crime junkie! I hope to see more books from her in the future

Would’ve given this a five, except that I was frustrated by the ending. Storytelling was well done. All throughout the book, I had more information than any of the characters at any point in the story, but still, there were multiple red herrings to get through. And even though I had parts figured out in advance, including what really happened that night, which was only revealed at the very end, I was frustrated because there were multiple time lines, and the present time line was too abrupt for me.

The first half of the story I really enjoyed, the second half is where the book basically fell apart for me. Overall while the second half fell short I do hope the author writes more books because I did enjoy her writing. I don’t want to put to many details that could possibly spoil the book but if you like True Crime podcasts and the such I think this book would be right up your alley.
