I really enjoyed the character development in Crowfeather's Trial! I found some plot points felt like they were going on for too long, but so many characters that felt like they fell by the wayside a bit as the story went on (Crowfeather himself, Nightcloud, and Breezepelt especially) got to have more development in them in this book. It was nice to catch up with WindClan and to see some more storylines from their perspective.

This is one of the better modern (post cover change) Super editions I've read so far. I'm a diehard fan of the blue-crooked-tall-yellow set. I never really felt here or there about Crowfeather, but this book really leaned me towards liking him. I don't really have an in depth analysis to offer though, I just love it when the series keeps a previously main character relevant in new, interesting, complex ways.

I think that's the most meaningful book of the whole warriors series with its topics including family problems and forgiving instead of solely focusing it on suspense
