2.5

Maybe more like 2.5. This book was better than the second one, so there's that.

I don't know. This turned into some Jack Ryan political war drama and I just didn't really care. Now that Wiley's out on bail, her and her brother are determined to find their father. But this book isn't just from Wiley's POV anymore. Now we also get Jasper and Riel along with political briefs and blog postings. It was just too much and too convoluted with all of the side stories and mysteries.

The only character I really liked was Detective Oshiro. True hero that guy.

I knew who the Architect was from the first book. There were really no surprises and none of the characters made you want to root for them. I skimmed a lot of the descriptive paragraphs because it just felt so weighed down by facts. If this was in fact a race against time thriller, it should be at least thrilling.

this book didnt have the greatest conclusion to a trilogy like this. i didn't understand the sudden shift in the way that it was written (books 1 and 2 had chapter numbers 1 pov, and this had multiple pov, but only wylie's was in first person?) its a little confusing but i still sped through it and enjoyed it a little? very fast paced and easy to read in a day if you have the time

Pretty cool, it's the third book in the series so I don't have much to say. I definitely still think the first book was more suspenseful.

I liked the change in writing style, all the different perspectives. I didn't think I would but it was essential to this book, a well done move.

Overall a solid book that would've been good as an addition to the story, not as an ending. The first three-fourths of the book had that same mystery feel and contained twists and turns throughout just as the prior two had. However, the last forth of the book felt rushed and wasn't up to par with the rest of the writing. The series as a whole I found extremely exciting and entertaining, I was excited to see how it all ended and where the story was going. This as a finale was a little bit disappointing just because it felt like it was robbed of a well executed grand ending. I wanted to hear everybody's side of the story, understand their roles in the story and what the motives were. I wanted to see life for Wylie return back to somewhat of a state of "normalcy." Felt like a lot of un-answered questions and I was expecting a lot more from the last book of this series.

as enjoyable as the first one… and the multiple povs didn’t help (in my case) because my mind was all over the world trying to understand everything at once asksjak but the plot about the politics tho is pretty much too close to home (i mean, aren’t they all?) except the scientific research part but just the fact that corrupt leaders always has their way to hide their bad deeds, evil doings…. too much hunger for power….

anyway, i’m glad i decided to read this trilogy. it’s been on my tbr for forever! 3 stars for this book!

Way to rushed for a series finale

It was painful to keep reading this and none of it made any sense.
