I struggled with this book-I don’t remember it ever taking me a month to read anything but it was very good. Maybe too much distraction in my world to concentrate well. The ending made me tear up.

A beautiful woven story full of intrigue. During the second World War 5 young Americans are deployed as spies in Paris. The characters felt very real, which makes the book even better. It made me want to know what happened to them and kept me wanting to keep reading. There are several twists and turns in the plot, which keeps you guessing. I really enjoyed this book.

Always loved historical fiction and this one did not disappoint. Loved the multiple narratives from the protagonists and secondary characters. The characters were beautifully written and the interactions and setup was just overall well done. Loved, loved, loved it

It’s been a long time since a grown up book gripped me like this fabulous piece of historical fiction managed to do. I found myself actually caring about the main characters, both American and German. I was nervous for them at times, elated at others. I read this over three days and didn’t want to do anything else.

I hope they make a movie of it...!
