I enjoyed everything up until the very damn end. I enjoyed the final outsmarting of Red. All of that was fine. But when they got to Wonderland and the Dulldroms were taking over and it was going to be this whole big thing that they had to deal with... but instead they just put Alyssa to sleep and Jeb and Morpheus came to the deal that Jeb could have her days and Morpheus could have her nights and when Jeb died, she would fake her death, and returne to Wonderland for good to be with Morpheus. Ugh. Also fuck Jeb that guy was the damn worst.

well... that was a weak ending wasn't it?

Pfff. I don't even know how to review this because I really liked the other books. And yes, I still have Untamed to go, but I believe that was an extra book right??
Maybe that will leave me a bit more satisfied. I was mostly annoyed throughout all of this.
I felt like they were trying to make me like Jeb (but I don't so it is a pointless effort) and all I wanted was for Alyssa to just MAKE UP YOUR MIND AND MAKE A CHOICE

that said, I do love this wonderland. The characters and the world itself I really like. Fingers crossed Untamed will make this all right again

Review based on what I remember when I read back in 2022.
This book is what solidified my liking of Jeb and Alyssa. Not loving them but supporting their relationship together. I loved being back in Wonderland and seeing Alyssa come into her own as Queen. The stakes in this final book were so high and I really loved how merciless the people around Alyssa were till the very end. This is also a book I desperately need to reread as I don't remember half of what happened. I will admit the plot did get a bit predictable towards the end but it was still enjoyable to read.
