I think I had read a few Sherlock Holmes stories in the past, but I didn't remember them well. The stories in this book are arranged chronologically in the order they happened, as opposed to the order in which they were written. I liked reading them and by the end I was starting to solve the mysteries or at least realize which parts were important. I think some of the solutions fall into "Encyclopedia Browned" trope territory but not all of them. I'm definitely going to try and get more Sherlock Holmes in the future.

I read up to page 252 this included: A Study in Scarlet, The Sign of Four, A Scandal in Bohemia, The Red-Headed League, A Case of Identity, The Boscombe Valley Mystery, and Five Orange Pips. I don't have much to say about them except that the books seemed to long and dragged at parts, but the short stories could have had slightly more to them. I still enjoyed what I read though, but I enjoyed the short stories more.
