I enjoyed the twist and didn't expect it. My main complaint with the book is the sudden change of the adults' attitudes at the end. I can see why that could feel real, but it just didn't feel real to me.

This book has been on my TBR for a couple of years now, so I'm happy I finally read it. The book itself was cool and I really enjoyed the mystery. I'm sorry that Tash is surrounded by crappy people. Like truly no one was in this poor girl's corner. Anyway, while it felt like a lot of things just worked out for Tash, I'll give the book some leeway since it's a YA book and not an adult thriller.
Anyway, this was pretty fun and if I can get my hands on other books by Epstein I'll definitely read them.

I’m not usually one for horror or mystery books, but this one had me at the edge of my seat the whole way through. Very well written!
