This book is cute and well put together, but I did not love it. As far as children's books go it was not great. My niece didn't like it much either, stating, 'there were some funny bits.' The plot was lacking as it did not seem to be going anywhere. There was not much of a lesson in patience as the title would suggest and I did not get the feeling there was much of a lesson behind the book in the way the writers wanted there to be.

Considering it was imagined by a four year old it's quite a good book. But there's a reason why most books even those for children are written by adults. The nonsense I used to come up with amused me at the time but bored me as soon as it was read back to me.

All in all It was likable and amusing, but not something I would keep around for my own children.

The Adventures of Super Bear tells the story of Theodore, a young bear who loves to play and loves pie. When Theo tries to sneak into the kitchen for pie after Mama Bear tells him he has to wait, Mama Bear uses the opportunity as a teaching moment about patience. Great for very young children who may need a fun way to learn about patience.
