So I've ended up sort of binge-reading the last 50% of this book in 1 day, which is highly unusual for me, and really a testament to how well written it is. I'm still processing it all really, but the main thing I want to get down right now, is that this book made me laugh out loud, cry, and feel so moved. I love the characters so much, and the murder-mystery part of the plot kept me guessing and on my toes throughout.
as someone who has experience with losing a grandparent to alzheimers, the storyline of Stephen and Elisabeth coping with his steadily declining dementia really got to me. It was so beautifully and tenderly written. I am also experiencing a lot of grief right now in my life, and there were many lines throughout this book that really spoke to me and made me feel seen. I just really appreciate the timing of when this book has entered my life. It feels somewhat serendipitous.

Already looking forward to meeting these characters again in future books, they feel like old friends to me now. 😭💜

I love the Thursday Murder Club and their adventures, but this one was a little less about the crimes and more about the challenges they encounter in Coopers Chase. Good book but also very hard to read sometimes. 💔

I really love this series. I didn't enjoy this as much as the third one because it was sadder than I was really ready for but it was still great. Bogdan is still my favourite but I love all the characters.
