I loved this issue for two reasons. One being Aquaman is shown to be a grim and morally right Superhero and the Second being it is Metaphorically talks about a man who entered into the darkest part of his soul. His anger ate him and he became a Monster which was brilliantly written by Dan Abnett.
It is a really interesting experiment to make with Aquaman in the forefront.

Not a bad little side-story to end this run.

Much better than the previous volume.

After the horrible stinkers the previous two volumes ended up being, this is a breath of fresh air and I'm adding a star just for turning this story around and giving it a decent ending/beginning.

I enjoy the tension between the ocean world and the land dwelling world and the pull Arther feels for both of them. He's a always in a place of tension. It simply makes a good story I feel. I love Mera. She is awesome and such a great character.

I enjoy the art in this. I am glad I read these Aquaman stories. They were worth the time.
