Well. This turned into a hate-read about 1/3 through and I don't know what was intriguing enough about it to keep me going, but I'm definitely not intrigued enough to continue this series. I'm just not the audience for it. It was a dificiult read, partly because of the continuously dark themes/stories, partly because the writing was just...vague, dry, all over the place, frustrating, not engaging. I was hoping it would go into the topic of humanity & AIs, but, alas.

The bit about electrolyte drinks being a drug for robots was fun though
