Not the best tbh, it's a major slow burn, like massively slow and the constant battles the two characters have in their heads are so drawn out and repetitive, plus the female constantly going back to her ex then not then is was painful. Also the lack of actual conversations was weird, we'd get a description of a conversation instead of just having the conversation, I found it odd. In general it's a good story but way too long with all the inner monologues.

There was a lot of promise with the book but it just felt a little rushed. I didn’t feel the love between the two mc’s as the conversations between them were brief and instead of having the conversation it was just stated what had occurred. The ending ruined it for me I felt like I was reading a GCSE English paper. No one getting engaged after no speaking for 6 weeks and not even knowing how the other feels before then. Some parts were fantastic but others spoiled it for me.
