The chemistry is so lovely between this pair. It doesn’t feel rushed but also not so dragged out that it’s unbelievable and has a great balance on emotional and physical attraction. I really wanted them to be together but could understand the hesitancy in her part and also the feeling that you don’t want to give something up for someone or feel as if your life is being dictated by them. Even if they may just be the love of your life. I loved this whole series and it is one of my top hockey romance interconnected series that I highly recommend.

“I’ll travel coast to coast for that fucking girl.”After reading Coast to Coast, I think it’s safe to say Simon is my new favorite Wyncote Wolves hockey player. Simon knew what he wanted from the moment Stella moved into the hockey house and what he wanted was a life with Stella.

Stella is dedicating her summer to discovering herself. Her ex just cheated on her and she doesn’t know what she truly has left in California but doesn’t want to go crawling back to Vermont either. Simon appoints himself to be part of her journey. “I’m just along for the ride… unless she decides she wants to ride me instead”

It's all about Simon and Stella's story. Simon who's focused on hockey and getting drafted. But he's also crushing hard on Stella, his teammate's sister. When Stella's feeling down, Simon is there for her no matter what. So he invites her to go with him to Canada for a hockey clinic, and things start getting intense. Stella's hesitant at first because she's feeling some serious sparks with Simon, but she takes a leap of faith. And their relationship is simply sweet. They support each other, make mistakes, and it's heartwarming to see them fall in love. Stella goes on a journey of self-discovery, and Simon is her rock. The drama is low but gets you going throughout the story.

4.5 stars.

Simon Murray and Stella Barrett had a connection and always flirted with each other, but neither took it seriously, besides Stella had a boyfriend. When Stella saw her boyfriend and best friend sleeping together, she promptly left and went back home to Vermont. Her brother, Sterling, offered to let her move into his place since he was moving out, but he didn’t live alone — he had roommates: Simon and a Lincoln.

Simon had to leave for hockey camp in Canada and asked Stella to go with him. Stella decided to find herself over the summer, so when Simon offered, she accepted.

Simon was a total sweetheart. He was a hot hockey player, yet he wasn’t a f*ckboy and he stood up for Stella when her brother was an a**hole to her. He listened to Stella’s wants and needs and was constantly there for her.

Stella was so tough. She got back on her feet after her troubled teenage years and did her own thing even though it wasn’t what her family wanted. She took risks and tried to find what would make her happy.

The spice? Wheeew, that was great

This is my favorite book so far in the series! I absolutely loved Simon and Stella’s story. If you like any of the following, then this book will be for you:

Friends to lovers ✔️
One bed ✔️
Brothers best friend ✔️
Hero with past issues ✔️
Heroine who has been cheated on ✔️

Simon is easily my favorite MMC of the series. He is so raw and real with what he says and up until this point, he was basically a mystery, so it was great to see an in depth version of Simon. I also love how he fell first, and fell hard.

Stella is on a self discovery mission when she unexpectedly falls in love with Simon and it’s beautiful.

These characters were so fun and I can’t wait for Vaughn’s story next! I feel like his is going to be an emotional read.

Gostei bastante do livro.

Thank you Cali for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
