This book made me cry tears of joy, sadness, anger, hope, devastation and pure happiness. Having been married for 8 years so far, and suffered infertility with my second baby, this book resonates so deeply with me. This is a beautiful representation of the ebs and flow of marriage and communication all bundled up in a more than happy ending. Absolutely loved it!

This book was very emotional and sweet. I loved Quinn and Graham. It was a little hard to read at parts because I was getting quite sad, but there were funny moments as well. I'm glad Colleen Hoover is venturing more into adult women's fiction although I love her YA's.

now this jus my be my new favorite Colleen Hoover novel, hands down. pretty sure what i loved and enjoyed most about reading was the “Then” to “Now” chapter flip-flip, which really gave the story LIFE - without having to drag thru every chronological event leading to the conclusion. Def in my Top 5 for the year 2022.

One of the best love stories I have ever read. Colleen Hoover has a way of writing that keeps the reader engaged. I read this book in less than 24 hours and I could not put it down!

I just couldn't get into this read. The content was heavy and heartbreaking, which I knew going in and thought I'd feel personally connected to this story but it just fell flat for me. Only the first few chapters kept me engaged.
I liked Graham's character from the beginning but could never find a way to feel drawn to Quinn. In the beginning she was fun and lighthearted, despite her and Graham's shared heartbreak. But every single time the story line jumped to the current time line, she made me grit my teeth. Always so depressing and ungrateful for what she had. Instead of reaching out to her partner and confessing her feelings and fears, she drove her husband away with her cold, sheltered demeanor.
Yes, the book ends in a HEA but the amount of time and struggle it took to accomplish it was a little exhausting.

Shit. That was heavy! I really don’t think the cover does this book justice and I hate it. :| STOP ASKING WOMEN WHEN THEY’RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY!
