Just as sad and traumatizing as I expected it to be. We've learned quite a bit about Caleb#s backstory during the campaign and I had no illusions about how rough this comic would be but yeah our poor wizard boy really had a BAD time. I like how Ickythongs manipulation was made very obvious though and I also appreciated a lot that they should the relationship between Caleb, Astrid and Eadwulf explicitly on page because it is an important part of his past and how he developed at the academy.
If you are planning to read this and you've seen Campaign 2 already - all good. If you haven't or know very little about Caleb's story this is an explicit recommendation to check the trigger warnings before reading because this comic has it all.
