This was a good book. I listened to it in audiobook form. But it was a little over descriptive and should have ended a chapter before it did actually end.

Jurassic Park is one of those books where I loved the movie first & then sought out the book that it is based on. I’ve watched the movie so many times & each scene is so familiar that I was actually surprised when I found that the characters are a little bit different in the book. The movie Hammond is an affable grandfather whereas in the book he’s a ruthless businessman. Tim & Lex are different too. But the excitement that we feel when Alan Grant & Ellie Sattler discovers the existence of dinosaurs remains the same in both versions. But the chasing scenes felt a bit dragging after a while. A lot of the near death scenes from the second and third movies are all from this book itself. Other than that, even though I knew exactly how the story will play out, the book still had a few surprises. This one definitely is a fun read.
