I know it’s not necessary to read these in order, but I wish I had. I really like recurring characters, and I don’t know if it would have really changed anything for me (and it’s sort of unusual for me to read a series backwards) (and I have to confess that I really wanted to write it’s sort of unusual to be loved by anyone after I got started there). Again, I liked the development of the characters. An added cool thing for me was the structure of Penkellis and Radnor’s mental state. My area of interest when I majored in English Lit was Gothic Fiction, and things like that just make my heart go pitter-pat with joy. So I suppose Georgie is sort of a beacon of light. Is that spoilery? I hope not. Lovely characters make an appearance. Side note: Julian really does come off as a prig. Lol. Recommended.
