As a sequel, I was concerned this book wouldn’t reach the same level that Me Before You had in my eyes. I was wrong. The first book created such a strong impression on me in regards to Louisa that I was thrilled to journey on this life after Will path. Still Me brings us to Louisa in the year or two following her time with Will and how she is recovering from the time she had with him. Grief has many stages and the love that she holds for Will as she attempts to move on from him is one that takes time. This book is relatable to anyone who is grieving and needs to find a new way and a new purpose in life. Louisa finds herself failing at keeping promises and struggling to discover what her life holds now without Will to take care of each day. She negotiates travels, new jobs, independent living, relationships (friends, lovers, support group comrades, and more) as she tries to heal from the loss of what she had hoped would be the life she wanted with Will. Louisa’s journey shares in telling the additional stories of Will’s parents, her former co-worker Nathan, her sister and nephew as well as new and very important character Lily. Highly recommend this story and looking forward to book three in the series. The final chapter should be a good read based on Jojo Moyes track record with the first two books.

It’s a great sequel that portrays a realistic journey of grief that Lou would experience and how it would impact the way she forms relationships with people and moves forward with their lives. I also love that all the characters have flaws and they’re realistic

A bit of a let down. I didn't feel Louisa's voice - I know the point of this book was that she lost her way, but I think it's unfair that she lost all her wit and confidence. I think the idea that her small town, low income life is shitty and she should have aspiration of "something better" and keep up with the Joneses (or Traynors, or Millers, or whatever) is a tired sentiment. And why is her family suddenly unloving, unsupportive, even to each other?  And
Spoiler the invention of Lily just seemed too convenient, too desperate to make a plot related to the first book. I think this book was pigeon holed into making Will the greatest love of all time and that's not what I got from Me Before You. </Spoiler> Yeah, I just had so many problems with this one.

I thought this book was rather lovely. I absolutely loved the first book-this second one felt right. When someone goes through heartbreak (especially due to someone else dying), they become someone new. I thought the author did a fantastic job demonstration how Clark went through her grief. While this book wasn’t passionate, I felt that it was as it should be after Wills death.
Spoiler I loved Lily and her character.  I think it was really great for Clark and the rest of Wills family to experience her. I love Sams character, but I think he’s too good for Clark. And I hate that they are in a relationship.
