Alison Weir is one of my most favourite authors who I have had the privilege to meet on a few occasions, has written many amazing books and great biographies about English Royal history, mainly from Tudor period. Elizabeth of York, The Last White Rose is no exception.

Although a fictional story, Alison bases the story from her years of research, building a interesting narrative which sweeps you along and into the world of the Tudor court where intrigue and conspiracy lurks around every corner.

Elizabeth of York is born into a war of two families seeking the crown of England and must find her own path and fulfil her destiny and become Queen of England following the death of her Father, King Edward IV. The spellbinding story of the first Tudor Queen and how her life and those of her family and children impact the story of England's Royal Family for generations to come.
