Tessa Hadley’s writing style is really great to read, however I just didn’t love this book. Didn’t love the way the story played out and felt the ending left a lot to be desired- this one just wasn’t for me unfortunately

The writing is good and the first half of the book was solid. For me the second half went a bit off the rails and the ending was really disappointing.
