This was a good pallet cleanser book. But not a great deal of substance. Characters and plot were at times ridiculous, I rolled my eyes.
But a good, non serious book to just not think about the craziness.

It was a little stretched out, the protagonist was a little frustrating for someone supposed to be a smart scientist.

Este libro tiene potencial por los temas que involucra pero qué predecible ha sido, odie los comentarios que para mí rayaban en sexistas así por igual el romance que hubo. Sin embargo, malo no está, una película dominguera.

"The third twin could be your lover, your friend . . . or your killer. In the course of her work, scientist Jeannie Ferrami stumbles across a baffling mystery: Steve and Dan appear to be identical twins, but were born on different days, to different mothers. A law student and a convicted murderer, they seem a world apart, but as Jeannie begins to fall in love with Steve, she finds her professional - and personal - future threatened. Steve is accused of a terrible crime, and Jeannie is forced to question just how different the two men really are. Together, she and Steve investigate the mystery and uncover all the secrets. But perhaps some secrets are best left alone . . ." (From Amazon)
A good but creepy suspense novel. I read this after watching a made for tv movie based on this novel.

Week 29, Book 23
The third twin by Ken Follet
Rating: 4/5
A techno thriller, TTT deals with genetic engineering and the question of nature vs nurture.
A scientist is studying twins reared apart when she stumbles upon a dark, scary scandal perpetrated decades ago by white supremacists in a bid to create the perfect America.
I first read it 20 years ago. I read it for the second time now, and the plot was just as thrilling, and the bad guys just as revolting. Ken Follet, always unputdownable. One of my fav reads.

This book was completely different than all of the other Ken Follett books that I've read, but I really enjoyed the story.
